I joined Shvoong enticed in by an article in a blog saying, “I make money writing summaries or reviews at Shvoong”. At first, I was intimidated because as I looked over the site, high quality abstracts are published, summarizing or reviewing topics on sciences, social sciences, humanities, medicine, health, law and politics, business and the economy. I asked myself, can I do this? Can I write like a pro?
At Shvoong I can write summaries or reviews on a variety of different kinds of publications. My articles need to be no greater then 900 words.
How will I make money with Shvoong? I will earn royalties on any of the article I write. Royalties are gained by the advertisements that are placed on the same page of my work. Money is generated when people view my article and when they click on these advertisements, and I will earn 10% of this advertisement revenue. It means if the article is popular, the more I will make money. But then again, I asked can I do this? Why not try?
Here is my first attempt a review of  Samsung Marvel S5560

I read a post from my fellow myLotters sharing his joining with He said that Readbud pays by reading and rating articles. What I did is locate the site and joined in.
The site is very interesting. I am paid by reading and rating their educational articles. The articles I have read were paid from $0.04 to $0.10, the articles have different length. I read 20 to 21 articles a day and it amount to $1.04 to $1.12. I spent 20 to 25 minutes in their site. After 8 days, I already have $8.12.
A dollar a day, wow! But the payout is high, I have to reach for $50.00, before I can request for my payment. Does it mean, 42 more days?
Right, a long, long way to reach the cash out. By the way, is Readbud legit?

Paid to Surveys I Joined, SCAM!

Paid to survey is a statistical survey where the respondent is rewarded through a small cash for completing one or more surveys. Nowadays, research companies developed online panels to recruit respondents via the internet. By conducting their research online, a research company can reach out to demographics they may not have had access to when using other methods. By offering a cash incentive to respondents in return for feedback these companies are able to quickly fill quotas and collect the information being sought by their client.
But are there any legit paid to survey? I signed up for several survey sites but after a couple of weeks or a month, they stopped sending surveys to me. What are these sites I joined in? In Survey Head I already earned $3.45, in Survey Scout I earned $2.60 and AW Survey around $25.00. What a loss!

How will I earn?

When I finally decided to earn money online, I started to surf the net and I was surprised to find out that there are numerous ways to make money. There are websites who pay you for:
a. clicking advertisements
b. taking online survey
c. posting
d. reading mails
e. affiliates – promote a product and service and earn commissions
f. selling e-books
g. selling products online
h. freelance or contract jobs – apply or offer your skill (writing, web designing, programming) online
i. blog - earn money from the display of advertisements or the sale of products and services
Perhaps there are still more, I still have to discover.
